What do you hope listeners take from the show?

We just hope listeners understand that even though their opinions or views aren't shared in the media, doesn't mean others don't have them. Extreme views get the most airplay because people love them or hate them. But they still listen to them.

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

Just getting more of an audience. After 4 years, we have over 10,000 listeners per show, but we haven't done marketing. And because we're not affiliated with a network or agents or famous people, it's hard to gain traction in today's listening landscape. Our appeal outside of the content is that we have staying power. Podcasts don't last too long, but here we are 4 years later still enjoying creating shows. We don't plan on stopping and leaving the audience hanging.

How can your listeners support your show?

Simply by listening. We have sponsors that cover our costs which is great. If people want to support us monetarily, they can head to our website at drivewaybeerspodcast.com/donate/ and support us that way as well, but we honestly like it better when people message us and simply listen to the shows. That's the best support we can ask for.

Any future plans that you'd like to share?

We have our costs covered for a few years, so while we're bringing on more sponsors, we are looking to expand the show with other hosts to create our own network of shows since we aren't affiliated with anyone. We'll look to add shows to our new group or create new shows with some of our friends that have appeared on our show.

Just thank you to the audience for listening. We honestly didn't think anyone would listen and yet, here we are with 10,000 listeners per show. We're just 2 guys recording in a basement, hanging out and getting to talk about whatever we like talking about. We really didn't think it would be as popular as it is and while 10k doesn't sound like a lot, it's a lot to us and we just want to thank everyone who listens.
