Who am I?

My name is Faith Jacobs and I’m an openly autistic author, podcaster, director and producer of several original projects, including Chaotic idiots. My podcasting background and start: When I tuned into fiction podcasts during the height of the pandemic days (March of 2020) I started first with a story called the two princes and then discovered Valence and Last Call At Bluebell cafe, and Far Meridian. I appreciated the change of pace from the void that was my life so, in honor or those stories, here’s a list containing the few that helped me and I hope they help you too. As much as my own stories, may help you to be kinder to yourself and to those around you. Faithfully Yours Mozart: the courtship is a brand new view of the famous composer, W.A. Mozart and the love of his life, Constanze Weber, a woman often scorned by historians and modern Mozart media alike. Unlike former projects, Faithfully Yours Mozart is determined to be the first of its kind that not only puts the forgotten world of disability at its helm but also allows for the subject matter of Constanze and Wolfgang’s romance to be treated with the respect and dignity it hasn’t been given in over 200 years. Many Mozart based films and movies, musicals and plays pass over the marriage as if it were a blip in Mozart’s life when, Constanze Weber is the whole reason we even have Mozart’s story to begin with. Without Constanze’s efforts to bring about the Mozart museum and school as she did With the help of Salzburg in the 1830’s, without conscious thought to be the first biographer of her husband’s life, no one would know the name that is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the wonder of Europe. This series is a love letter to the true woman left behind by history, Constanze Mozart, and her love to a man who we forget was more than his music. Lovingly dramatized by two Autistic leads, Faithfully yours Mozart is a project that tackles a love story That was most crucial to the very history of music as we know it. And I hope you’ll give it a listen.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

Those whom do not study history are doomed to repeat it. Faithfully yours Mozart is a neurodivergent historical drama romance that aims to say, we, the Neurodivergents, have always been here. Disabilities are not a 21st century phenomenon, they are in fact a different neurological reality, another way that we as human beings are diverse in our everyday lives. It’s no different than saying one person wears glasses and the other uses contacts. Both have a need to help their vision and both do so in varying degrees. Neurodivergency is the same way. Just as no two snowflakes which fall from the sky are alike, Neurodivergence presents itself differently over the course of centuries and whereas we, the human race may not recognize it due to a lack of scientific knowledge and understanding, in one lifetime, in the next our society learns. This is why history is crucial to building a better future and overall better society. Faithfully yours Mozart is very much part of that and I hope the podcasts reccomended will make a difference in the long run as much as I want faithfully yours Mozart to do the same.

What is my podcast playlist about?

The podcasts I picked and why

1. Jane Austen Stories

Why this podcast?

What greater love story has stood the test of time than that of Pride & Predjudice. This, like Queen Charlotte, was one of several regency stories that helped to shape my understanding of what makes the classic era of literature, the most interesting pieces of fiction to exist. It is on the foundation of Jane Austen, that the stories of the modern regency era of fiction are based. Also bonus it’s Julie Andrew’s as the Narrator! I love her so much! ☕️🫖 Tea rating: 10/10 have some scones, marmalade, and a warm bowl of soup with some ravishing hot tea for this podcast series!

The year is 1814, and Elena's life is about to change forever.

When Elena learns from her father that her past has been a lie, her entire life is uprooted all in one night. Along with a trunk of her mother's belongings, she is dropped off the next day at the pier to begin a voyage to her new home and her arranged marriage. While aboard the ship, she befriends Captain Jeremiah and his wife, Lucia, all while avoiding the condescending eyes of the first mate, Silas.

One night, after their ship runs aground in a storm, Silas is left to watch over Lucia and Elena on a tropical island, while the Captain goes to find help. Soon after, Kwesi and Bahia wash ashore, creating a new dynamic among the stranding souls, forcing Elena to determine what she wants for her life, and what she truly considers home.

A regency era story, with layers of humor, adventure, love, and self-discovery. A great episodic-series for fans of historical fiction, Jane Austen, Bridgerton, and other 19th century dramas.

By Way of the Sea is an original, immersive audio drama created by EraLore Studios, in collaboration with Stay Bizze. With voice acting by Brenna Patzer, Seth Rosenke, Karina Hilleard, John R. Smith Jnr, Enzo Leone, and Gervais Weekes.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's life was kind of complicated. His childhood as a musical prodigy was filled with practicing, writing music, and performing for royalty throughout Europe. He later struggled at times finding suitable employment and wanted to find his own path. It was a life lived under the watchful eye of his father, Leopold Mozart, and cut short at the age of 35.
