On the 250th anniversary of the United States, Revisionist History investigates the overlooked story of what was, at the time, the biggest secession movement in the U.S. since the Civil War.
A movement that took place on a small island miles out to sea from New York City. An early example of the politics of resentment that dominates America today. What do you do when a democracy looks like it’s falling apart?
Over the course of five episodes, The Staten Island Problem reconstructs the battle for New York City amidst the turbulent early 1990s — the rise of Rudy Giuliani, the peak of the homicide rate, the Wu-Tang Clan, young Donald Trump, and the first Black mayor of New York — all through the prism of the city’s Forgotten Borough. Through colorful characters and never-before-heard archival audio, The Staten Island Problem reveals what can happen when a disgruntled minority manages to take over — and fracture — a democracy.

Revisionist History is Malcolm Gladwell's journey through the overlooked and the misunderstood. Every episode re-examines something from the past—an event, a person, an idea, even a song—and asks whether we got it right the first time. From Pushkin Industries. Because sometimes the past deserves a second chance.

Veteran journalist Joe Nocera’s neighbor in the Hamptons was a therapist named Ike. Ike counted celebrities and Manhattan elites as his patients. He’d host star-studded parties at his eccentric vacation house. But one summer, Joe discovered that Ike was gone and everything he’d thought he’d known about his neighbor -- and the house next door -- was wrong. From Wondery, the company behind Dirty John and Dr. Death, and Bloomberg, “The Shrink Next Door” is a story about power, control and turning to the wrong person for help for three decades. Written and hosted by Joe Nocera, a columnist for Bloomberg.

Most of us have gotten at least a little emotional at some point recently. It’s natural. But why do we have emotions and how much should we pay attention to them on any given day? Can we learn to skillfully choose which emotions to listen to and which ones to just let move on by?
In More Than A Feeling, the latest podcast from Ten Percent Happier, host Saleem Reshamwala goes on a real life quest to find the answers to these questions. He’ll experiment with neuroscientists, dive into stories with historians and philosophers, and document how musicians, therapists, hairdressers and airplane pilots work with emotions.
Saleem sifts through the human condition to find stories and insights that will help us define our most fundamental relationships: our relationship to our own emotions, and to each other’s.

" Ranked #1 by Google for 'AI Coaching for Executives Podcast. "
AI Café Conversations is the podcast for executives and HR professionals who want to lead through AI disruption without losing their people or their minds.
Hosted by Sahar Andrade, MB.BCh, Forbes Coaches Council member and neuroleadership AI consultant, this show brings you the science behind why AI adoption fails, what human-centered AI leadership actually looks like, and how neuroscience explains what no technology training ever will.
Neuroleadership explains what no technology training ever will
Every episode tackles the real questions executives are asking:
Why does AI integration break down even when the tools are good?
Why do high performers freeze under workplace AI pressure?
How do non-technical leaders build confidence with AI without a tech background?
This is not a tech show. It is a human show. Neuroscience first. Strategy second.
Top 2% globally.
The podcast shares practical insights for AI for executives who lead without a tech background
How do some executives navigate AI disruption with clarity while others freeze?
It's not intelligence. It's not experience. It's regulation. It's neuroleadership
Regulated leaders make better decisions under pressure because they understand how their nervous system responds to threat. Dysregulated leaders make fear-based decisions that damage their organizations.
This podcast teaches you the difference.
Leadership doesn't fail. Nervous systems do.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
New episodes every Wednesday and Friday.
Every Wednesday (Main Episodes, 20-25 min):
- Neuroscience of leadership under AI pressure
- What regulated leaders do that dysregulated leaders don't
- Framework previews from Sahar's workshops (B.R.A.I.N., P.I.L.O.T., Three Zones)
- Real strategies for navigating Shadow AI, FOBO, trust collapse, and leadership vacuums
Every Friday (Forbes Editions, 12-15 min):
- Tactical, actionable leadership insights
- Quick frameworks you can apply immediately
ABOUT YOUR HOST
Sahar Andrade, MB.BCh, teaches executives how to become regulated leaders during AI disruption using neuroscience. Forbes Coach Council member. Medically educated and trained. Top 2% globally ranked podcast.
She helps C-suite executives (CEOs, COOs, CHROs) navigate AI transformation through regulated leadership frameworks, addressing challenges like Shadow AI, executive decision-making under pressure, psychological safety, and organizational trust.
WHY THIS PODCAST IS DIFFERENT
This isn't another "AI strategy" podcast telling you which tools to use.
This is the ONLY podcast teaching regulated leadership as the foundation for AI transformation.
Neuroscience isn't the promise—it's the proof mechanism.
Regulated leadership is the competitive advantage.

A podcast about how the school system is failing autistic children
Everyone goes to school – but what happens when your child struggles to go? Often as a parent there is a sense that something more is going on causing the distress. A hard-won diagnosis of autism promises to bring the understanding and support families need. Instead, many feel like they are dropped off a cliff edge, and trauma grows in it wake.
In this powerful four-part podcast, Eliza Fricker shares her experience, and that of others, to reveal the difficult process of getting an autism diagnosis, what this means in our current education system, and asks, can we find a better way?
With the help of leading autism experts Eliza explores the pressure to “fix” children to fit in and how many children are masking their true self to survive at school. She looks at alternative ways to educate children who don’t thrive in the mainstream model. And in light of the growing mental health crisis among young people, asks how far the UK school system is out of date and in need of reform. Are schools failing not just autistic children, but everyone?
“My child wasn't broken, they didn't need to be fixed. Why was the onus on my child to fit the system – and not the system, to fit my child?”
Currently almost two million children are regularly absent from school. Many of these will have special needs – making going to school a stressful and distressing experience. But in a system that prizes attendance over wellbeing, autistic children are forced into an environment that makes them unwell. Parents who want to safeguard their children are fined for non-attendance, and face an expensive uphill struggle to find alternative ways to educate their children. Yet there are other ways, including schools that focus on strength-based and autonomous learning. It’s in a setting like this that Eliza has seen her child heal and thrive.
How many children are being disabled by the system, not their disability?
Contributor quotes:
“The implication is that there's a gold standard human being that everybody's measured up against and if you’re perceived to have flaws then you're broken in some way and you need to be fixed. But we can reframe those “weaknesses” and see them as strengths. Which is rarely done with autistic children.” Kieran Rose, autistic consultant and trainer.

We think deeply, feel a lot, and we're done pretending mental load, exhaustion and burnout are personal failures. This is Scenic Route through Midlife, a mental health and personal growth podcast for women navigating burnout, rage, and perimenopause while still making space for wonder and whimsy.
Hosted by sociologist and mental health advocate Jennifer Walter — a half-rebel, half-marshmallow perimenopausal millennial with ADHD — we explore where society meets the self: perfectionism, overthinking, and the pursuit of well-being collide with power, gender, capitalism, and social change.
Here we believe healing isn't just personal, it's collective.
New episodes every Tuesday.
New affirmations every Friday.
The longest way round is the shortest way home. That’s why we’re taking the Scenic Route.
