On Sunday, the 4th of October, 2015, a harrowing 911 call lasting 17 minutes came in from a tearful 12-year-old, saying that her father, Daniel Luke, was attacking her mother, Angela Luke, just outside of Canal Winchester in Bloomfield Township, Ohio. The call began with the 12-year-old saying her father, 42-year-old Daniel Luke, was holding her mother, Angela Luke, down and hurting her inside their home at 9905 Alspach Road. The dispatcher also asked if anyone had been drinking, and she confirmed that her father had. As the young girl tried to describe what was happening to the dispatcher, her father seemed to turn his attention to her and her little sister. As the call continued, Angela Luke attempted to leave the house, taking her two young daughters with her, but Daniel wouldn’t let them pass.
About 11 minutes into the call, Angela and her daughters finally managed to get into the car, and Angela tried to drive off. However, Daniel still attempted to stop them. Almost immediately after these words, the girl began to scream that her father had been hit.
