Who am I?

Emmanuel Manishimwe is a highly experienced and dedicated professional with a strong background in community development, youth empowerment, and children’s ministry. He currently serves as the Team Leader at Hope Community Action Africa, a position he has held since July 2019. Prior to his current role, Emmanuel was the East Africa Coordinator for Every Generation Ministries (EGM) from February 2012 to June 2019, overseeing EGM’s work in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, which included training Children’s Workers and providing Sunday school resources. His extensive experience also includes serving as the National Director for King’s Sports Ministry (KSM) Uganda, and National Coordinator for Christian Sports Contact (CHRISC) Uganda, where he managed sports ministry training, provided equipment, and organized youth sports activities. He also has experience as a Youth Coordinator & Children’s Ministry Field Worker and a Primary Teacher. Emmanuel holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from Kampala International University, along with a Diploma in Education (Primary) and a Certificate in Education (Primary), from Kyambogo University. He is also a CISCO Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) [Makerere University College of Computing and Information Sciences]. His commitment to continuous learning is further demonstrated by his various short courses, including a Trainer of Trainees Certificate in HIV/AIDS Awareness, a Certificate in Financial Management & Audit Procedures, and a Certificate in Project Planning & Management from Uganda Management institute, and a certificate in administrative law, Makerere University School of Distance and Lifelong Learning. Emmanuel has also contributed to several writing and research projects: The dilemma of youth in accessing financial services in uganda (2008), under Kampala International University faculty of Social Sciences. Writing of the Sports Ministry Leaders’ Handbook Level 1”, with Hope community Action Africa. Civil Society Actions and Practices towards Social Transformation in Uganda (2011), under Kampala International University faculty of Social Sciences, school of post-graduate studies. Personal writing: Discerning the Times (On Amazon) and 40 Days of Reconciliation. Curriculum development with Hope Community Action Africa – Ongoing. My expertise comes from time and dedication: My path is rooted in over a decade of exploration. It's an evolving process. I have been working on this theme since at least 2013 ("Discerning the Times") and 2014 (the original "40 Days of Reconciliation").
