Our Round Table has assembled once more! This time, host Joshua Noel asks Professor Chris Moreland and Christian Ashley when they believe it would be better for Christians to sit with people's hurt rather than argue with them. When should Christian leaders just listen? Can a Church be toxic? How do we get past the hurt caused by pastors in our churches? As the Supreme Court of the United States ruled against Roe v Wade, many people are scared of the future - should Church leaders brag bout a victory in politics or should we try to be there for those who are afraid? What states will ban abortion? How do we love those who we disagree with over these topics? How do we love those who lash out against the Church because of their past experiences? We discuss all this and more! Let us know your thoughts on our Facebook group, The Whole Church Group.

Back to our "Dividing Scriptures" series with the Book of Job and how the word "ha satan" has been translated throughout history! We discuss the opinions of Church fathers and theologians from "The Testament of Job" to Thomas Aquinas to John Calvin and even C.S. Lewis! Where did Job live in the book of Job? Who was speaking to Job in Job 33? What was the context of Job 33:22? Was "ha satan" the devil, an evil imagination, a symbolic character, or a member of God's divine council? Did Job fear the Lord? Was the book of Job literal? Is Job and Jobab the same person? Does the Church blame the devil too much? We continue talking about Church unity as we examine different views of Satan in the book of Job. Christian unity is important year-round, not just for the Christian week of prayer! Join in our discussions on Satan on our Facebook group: the Whole Church Group!

Even better than a Biblical Philosopher is a Biblical Exegetist! Our hosts, Joshua Noel and TJ Blackwell, interview Chad M. Mansbridge about his new book, "You Can Handle the Truth". Pastor Chad Mansbridge heard many questions from a diverse group of Christians and realized with proper hermeneutical principles they could answer their questions about the Bible for themselves! We talk with him about his testimony, apologetics, hermeneutics, Church unity, and more! Chad believes learning how to read the Bible properly is the key to apologetics, eschatology, deism, and so much more - and he shares with us his 3 steps to reading the Bible better for yourself! Let us know what questions you have about this book or hermeneutics in general by emailing us at thewholechurch@gmail.com or by joining our Facebook group, the Whole Church Group!
