Initial studies of post-traumatic stress (PTS) in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) have uncovered some alarming preliminary findings. To shed some light on this research we're speaking with licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Tiffany Taft, who speaks not only has a clinician, but as a patient. Dr. Taft shares her own patient journey and discusses how patients, as well as providers, can potentially ease some of the signs and symptoms of PTS related medical trauma.
