Since the early 1990s, The Landmark Forum has claimed to be a “personal and professional growth, training, and development company” providing the tools for self-actualization. In our opinion, it sounds more like a NXIVM-style scam that uses pseudo-psychology, verbal abuse, and (frankly) torture tactics (including sleep and food deprivation) to make participants feel permanently dependent on the group.
