Born and raised in England, He moved to Canada in 2006. He quickly became involved in the short-term rental property market and realized that the fragmented nature of the market and legacy software platforms provided a significant opportunity to revolutionize technology and services in the property management and distribution vertical.
Emmanuel Lavoie is an engineer, entrepreneur, and investor with 15 years of experience in the management of business and technical projects. As COO at Jetstream Hospitality Solutions, he focuses on maximizing business growth and driving innovation.
In 2012 Leavetown.com was launched and in 2017 their market-leading technology and full-service solution was branded Jetstream. They have grown globally with offices and teams in North America, Europe, the Philippines, and now full circle, they also have offices in the UK.
This episode was a blast to record! They've got a really cool story of having bought Jetstream back from Red Awning at the beginning of the Pandemic and are now 100% employee-owned and I am glad to be one of the firsts to capture it!
