Back in April I had the pleasure of interviewing Jessica for a different series I was working on. Unfortunately I never published that series but little did I know that she would pop up on my radar once again for the Destinationaire Award!
Jessica and her two daughters run Barefoot Vacation Rentals based in California! We first met through the Rent Responsibly team and I love getting to see their story play out!

When I think of the term "setting standards" I think back to the days of Army basic training and school with my platoon sergeant saying those words to me multiple times a day... "we set the standard and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You're in control of what standards you live up to so set your standards higher than what anyone or anything could set for you"
