And now, on February 2, 2012, the detectives wanted his help. But the man just slouched in his chair, muttering one word answers and never even taking off his sunglasses. The detectives stared at the man for the longest time, waiting to see if he would tell them anything useful. Finally, the man started looking all around him like he was searching for a hidden camera and said something startling: “Is the CIA here?” The detectives had no idea why the American spy agency would be interested in a Tennessee murder case. But now they needed to find out.
