Transitions can be tough. Moving from one job to another or one city to another. How about the transition from single to married or no kids to 4 kids. The nation of Israel under Joshua's leadership, was facing one of those transition times and here's what God said to get them moving forward.

In navigation, dead reckoning is the process of calculating current position of some moving object by using a previously determined position, or fix, and then incorporating estimations of speed, heading direction, and course over elapsed time. I've got a great spiritual example of this for you today.

Dead Reckoning

Psalm 91:2 says; I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” A refuge is defined as a shelter or protection from danger or distress, a place that provides shelter or protection, something to which one has recourse in difficulty. We have a place like that every hour of every day. Let's enter into it today.
