So I log into Facebook this morning and I'm blessed by the announcement that me dear friends, Michael DiMuccio and Jessica Cook are officially engaged. Congratulations Michael and Jessica! As I read their post and looked at the pictures, my mind went immediately to the proposal I received from the Lord Jesus. I said yes and have never regretted it. Have you said yes?

On this day after Christmas, the season where we celebrate the incarnation, I'm inspired with the answer to the why in Psalm 8:3-4 - When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? This is today's YouVersion verse of the day and so appropriate and on target for this day as we continue to take in and absorb God's amazing love for us.

Let me let you in on a seldom recognized truth: Change is possible, but focus is required. You don’t need a gym membership or more will power, a new organizational system or a financial planner to make the changes you desire this year as much as you need clarity and sustained focus over time. I'd like to suggest something simple and doable... choose a word as you focus for 2020.
