Well here we go into another new year... 2021. What a challenge 2020 was but here we are. Instead of focusing on the new year, I want you today to focus on the new you. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says; "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW creation, old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." Yes it's a new day, a new month, a new year, but focus on living out the new you today.

How do you start your day? I start my day with quoting powerful verses from the Bible. This is one of my favorites - Psalm 143:8 "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life." This morning as I prepared for my day, I thought of this verse. I thought of the words and the importance of putting our trust in God each and every day. The very first words that come from our mouths as we open our eyes should be these.

So no, I'm not going to be talking about the movie, "Lethal Weapon" but I am going to share about are most effective and lethal weapon we have in our spiritual arsenal against our battle with Satan and the evil we face. Jesus said it this way; "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."
