Yesterday I had the privilege of picking up a passenger who was blind and was accompanied by a beautiful guide dog. I loved the conversation we had and getting to know the dog... a handsome German Shepherd. Later as I continued my day, I was reminded that we all can suffer from blind spots and need the help of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, to help us navigate our own blindness. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Unity is so important to God and His Son Jesus. The longest prayer in the Bible is the prayer of Jesus in John 17 for unity in the Body of Christ. Tuning is important for musical instruments and especially in an Orchestra. There can be now harmony without unity in tuning. My challenge to you today is to tune in, to not be a part of the discord of this world but be an answer to Jesus prayer.

Psalm 28:7 says; The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. I love the progression in this verse. Like any great song, there are the verses, the chorus, a hook and a bridge. Together they make a powerful expression. In a similar way, we can see beauty for ashes and the rising of praise in the midst of all we're facing.
