Ever found it difficult to just stand still in the middle of a hectic workweek? How about standing still when you feel like you are about to be overwhelmed with life? Have you tried standing still when life seems like it is crashing down around you? That's exactly the advice that God gave Israel at the Red Sea in Exodus 14:13 - "And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord..."

Psalm 90:10 says; "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away." Yesterday, September 6, 2020, I turned 70 years of age... three score and ten. Turning 70 brings a lot of different thoughts that I'd like to share with you on today's Morning Manna.
