I love the story of Jesus stilling the storm on the Sea of Galilee. I love the part of the story that while the storm was raging, Jesus was napping. Do you ever struggle thinking that Jesus might be sleeping on the job... that he's clueless as to what's happening around Him? Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Promises are important right? But the promises of God are amazing. 2 Peter 2:4 tells us that God has given us "exceeding great and precious promises." One of God's promises that is encouraging me today is the one found in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Some things never end right? How many times have you said; "When is it going to stop?" With all the challenges we're facing, it's comforting to me to know that what's important about God and His faithfulness, also never stops. Lamentations 3:22-23 - "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
