This story is truly unbelievable. Emergency Room nurse of 30 years, Susan Kuhnhausen (who now goes by Susan Walters) could have easily become the victim of a murder for hire plot but instead, she used every bit of her knowledge, experience and wits to survive. This story will stick with you in a good way.
Susan, if you are listening, you are a legend.

We love a good, creepy case from the 40s in here, don't we? The strange, tragic murder of Hallie Illingworth is fascinating for one big reason, and that reason is saponification. Trust us, this one has it all....science, history and corpse wax.

Yes, this is a long episode but this loser has a lot of layers to peel back. In Part 1, we talk about Dennis Rader's childhood, his marriage and his first foray into the world of Bind, Torture, Kill. It's a bumpy and weird ride, guys. Dennis Rader is a strange and frustrating case.
There is description of two children who were murdered in this episode. We announce it and give ample time to skip if this is something you are not comfortable listening to!
