The Rendlesham Forest UFO incident, also known as "Britain's Roswell," occurred in December 1980 in the forest near Rendlesham, a small town in Suffolk, England. It involved multiple sightings of strange lights and objects by United States Air Force personnel stationed at nearby RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge, which were being used by the US military at the time.On December 26, 1980, USAF security personnel reported seeing strange lights in the forest and investigated. They claimed to have seen a metallic, triangular-shaped craft with strange markings on its surface. The craft was said to be hovering above the ground and emitting a low-level radiation. When the airmen approached the craft, it reportedly lifted off the ground and quickly disappeared.The next night, more personnel observed strange lights in the forest, and some even claimed to have seen the craft again. The incident was investigated by the UK Ministry of Defence and the USAF, and many theories have been proposed to explain what happened.
