Julie had the amazing opportunity to talk with Joe Kenda, the star of Discovery Network's hit television show Homicide Hunter. This got her thinking about the fragility of life. We hope you are inspired by the message she received from a true hero.

Kenda has seen the most unimaginable situations. Kenda has seen the death of the most gruesome ilk. Stress seems diminished when you get out of your own head. There are a lot of bad things that are going on in this world. Understanding that your problems are not as big as the next persons-you can eliminate ruminations and being stuck.

You have a choice in everything you do. Are you making decisions in the alignment of who you want to be and where you want to go? All you have to do is to take action. You are holding yourself back (notwithstanding grief or mental illness).

This is an inspirational minisode that will make you think a little differently about your life. You have a choice. Start talking to yourself differently.

Previous Episode

There are moments in our lives when we know we are capable of more than we currently do. We have a glimpse of the person we could become if we decide to pursue it. But sometimes, things or events get in the way of our happiness and success.

For Tia, she grieved immensely after her sister's sudden death and felt immense loneliness and disconnection from others. This turned her world inside out and temporarily held her back from becoming what she desires to be. As our guest Evan Carmichael stated, grief is a highly individualized experience, and each person expresses and processes it in their own way and time.

It's not always easy to become who we know we can or want to be. This is a journey that takes time, energy, and courage. We must be willing to put in the hard work and motivation despite the circumstances that come our way. With this, you'll be able to come back with even more fire than before.

Speaking of time, this is the first of a two-part episode featuring Evan as we are very obsessed with him and what he has to share on how we can become the person we want to be!

Evan believes that entrepreneurs can be successful on their own terms. While dealing with some failures and problems, Evan was still able to find success at a young age and now runs a highly successful YouTube channel, is an author of four books, and is recognized by Forbes as a renowned speaker on leadership and social media. Evan is working to solve the world's biggest problem of people not believing in themselves enough through good karma projects and initiatives that have the potential to impact a billion people.
