WWJD goes DEEP, taking questions and concepts from our podcast and expanding on them.
Everyone seems to be so concerned by even the littlest bit of objection especially audible objection from the dog during training, sure it is good to be aware of that, but when it comes to REHAB work it is not top of mind as far as deciding what you are doing is correct, since what you are doing has been proven over and over with real dogs in your care with real results that work.
What no one ever talks about is the discomfort of humans that own the dogs. Lots of discomfort, physical, mental, emotional, financial discomfort. Relationships and marriages being broken up. Folks going broke or having to cancel a trip or a home improvement. Children been injured, people being knocked over or pulled down or injured, we have had any clients with broken bones and torn muscles from dogs just dragging them, months and sometimes years of physical therapy. PTSD from your dogs bad behavior. Spending thousands and thousands of dollars and the dog still cannot do basic things let alone bad behaviors where not even addressed. No one wants to talk about that . so many folks LOVE to point out that a dog made a little noise when you stopped it from attacking a dog or a child..sorry I live in reality and I wont stop talking about it or traiing for it.

Of course I care about the health and welfare of the animal, but I care a heck of a lot more about the health and welfare of the human who owns the dog...yep we own our dogs they are not our equals, we decide the life and death of them, and it is time to step up and take back our lives.
