so many folks try to stop unwanted behaviors with putting the dog in a sit and trying to get eye contact, sorry to let you know, that is useless as far as step one, you need to stop the unwanted behavior and ironically dogs just start looking at you

I am out in San Diego and they have a little white fluffy dog, maybe 15#, it explodes at other dogs, she walks it on a harness, i mind my business, i don\'t train my families dogs but the dog explodes when it sees other dogs, so she crosses the street when she sees other dogs, i told her this was bullshit so i showed her a simple one second technique and we walked by the dog.
