A few months back, we covered the 2004 case of Lisa Marie Montgomery--a woman who murdered Bobbie Jo Stinnet as she brutally cut open Bobbie Jo's abdomen to take her unborn baby. This case made national headlines, and in 2021, Lisa Marie became the first woman to be executed by the federal government in decades. Our case this week follows a similar trajectory.
