Before Haskell carried out his evil revenge plot against the Stay family, he had a run in with his own family. In a shocking turn of events, the victims of that attack used Haskell’s previous attacks to bolster his defense strategy. They believed his attack on his own family days earlier would help prove his claims of innocence by reason of insanity or mental defect. Despite these efforts to avoid responsibility, a Texas Jury passed down the ultimate judgment on Ronald Haskell where he now sits on Texas Death row.
