A Plan for Evil: The Stay Family Murders

Katie Stay also helped her sister, Melanie Haskell escape Utah and her abusive ex to be closer to her family in Spring, Texas. Before Haskell carried out his evil revenge plot against the Stay family, he had a run in with his own family. In a shocking turn of events, the victims of that attack used Haskell's previous attacks to bolster his defense strategy. They believed his attack on his own family days earlier would help prove his claims of innocence by reason of insanity or mental defect.
