Do you want to change the world? So do I! On this podcast, we meet artists whose work is doing just that. Each week I interview an artist and talk about their work. As creative thinkers, artists present us with some of the most compelling visions of ways that our world could work better for everyone--art around environmental, social, and racial justice, gender equity, ways to build community and bridge divisions, and solace for grieving-- If we can see solutions to the things that prevent us from thriving as individuals and societies, we can imagine implementing those solutions. Once we imagine, we can become the people we want to be, belonging in communities that nurture everyone, and living in societies based on equity and justice.
How do we change the world? One artist at a time.

What can you learn from having a conversation? A conversation with someone who knows you really well, someone who may not always agree with you, but always has your best interest at heart. When you need to work through a problem you’re having or get a fresh perspective, that’s when you need to find that person that you love and trust and have a thorough conversation. I’m so happy to share with you an episode from the podcast Reframeables, hosted by sisters Rebecca and Natalie Davey.
Rebecca Davey is a multi-hyphenate artist, having worked as a writer-creator-producer-actor for over a decade. Her current brainchild is Ceres Productions, which fills its expanding creative universe with diverse projects big and small. She brings an unstoppable curiosity and joie de vivre to her work. Natalie Davey is a teacher and writer who helps to cast the narrative net of the show a little wider. With a PhD in education and a past life as a prison literacy teacher, she brings a social equity perspective to issues that need thoughtful exploration from diverse angles. These two sisters are passionate about how all the things we struggle with in our lives can be reframed through art.
One thing I know—if conversation is an art? Rebecca and Natalie are masters of it.
