Even savvy Swingers can't always avoid drama. In situations when things may not be going exactly as planned, just realizing when to slow down, when to step back and knowing when to say "when" can help keep you from stepping on landmines and getting caught up in some drama.
But, we're the Accidental Swingers and, as usual, we learned these lessons the hard way.
We talk about three back to back dates with different couples; we learn the value of trusting your instincts and the importance of sticking to the plan. Unfortunately we didn't know any better and flubbed our way through some uncomfortable situations!
A vanilla date with a lifestyle couple turns into a playdate, that, honestly, should have stayed a vanilla date. We run into some drama with the wife of one of the couples that we play with. And, in a moment of weakness, Myrina ignores her inner voice and allows a meet and greet date to turn into a playdate. We definitely have some sexy fun but honestly, we should have stayed at the bar!
As always, we talk about what we could have done, we laugh at our mistakes and vow to do better next time!

We also begin to understand and explore our desire to have a deeper, emotional connection with our swinging partners. We dubbed it Social Swinging vs. Sexual Swinging. Sexual swinging is more about the physical sex: you go to a club, find a couple, have sex and maybe you'll see each other again, maybe not. Social swinging, to us, is developing more of a relationship; going out together and doing more than just having sex. It's about building connections and creating friendships. In our journey, we quickly realized if we really connected with a couple, that we wanted to explore the possibility of more than just a sexual relationship with them but perhaps form a friendship as well.
Full of sexual energy and hormones, Myrina starts communicating with a single guy as they build up to their MFM playdate. We're the Accidental Swingers, so true to form, things don't quite go the way we planned!

Excited yet totally terrified, we were determined NOT to show up to Naughty without "knowing" couples in advance. Myrina devised a way to connect with people in Florida were going to NiN as well, and could be potential playmates for the future!
Day 1, we arrived bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and dove right in to bar takeovers and parties. Having been in the lifestyle for only about 4 months, we'd never been to a house party, a group party or done anything more than have a foursome with another couple. Yet here we were in NOLA with approximately 1,000 couples and a laundry list of things we wanted to try and experiences we wanted to have.
We talk about finally meeting, in person, some of the folks we'd connected with in the weeks leading up to the trip as well as one special connection we made with another couple. You'll hear about our tour of the amazing playrooms at the hotel and whether or not we decide to play their on our first night at NiN!
