10 Hours From Home
Kate
10 Hours from Home is about the lessons I have learned as an American woman living abroad for the last 10 years in 3 countries. It is a comedic take on all things, dating, moving, traveling, language and cultural barriers, visas and administration as well as a deep look into serious issues that the world as a whole are facing from the view of an American abroad. It is about learning a lot and giggling as we do it!

Because Great Sex Matters - Listen. Learn. Live Sexy! Are you ready to spice up your sex life and live happy, healthy, and horny? Welcome to The Sexy Lifestyle Podcast, the premier destination for those ready to trade the "status quo" for a life of electrifying intimacy and lifelong connection. Hosted by Carol and David—a real-life couple with nearly two decades of experience navigating the world of open-mindedness, swinging and ethical non-monogamy—this is a completely uncensored look into the heart of modern relationships. With their signature style, Carol and David make the conversation sexy, easy, and funny, normalizing the topics we are often too afraid to discuss and proving that no subject is off-limits when it comes to pleasure. For Everyone Who "Doesn't Know What They Don't Know" This podcast is for everyone. Whether you are happily monogamous, lifestyle-curious, or a seasoned swinger, we designed this show for the person who realizes there is always more to learn. We believe that relationships begin and end in the bedroom, and regardless of your current status, it is never too late to start again. We are here to help you achieve better love, better sex, and a deeper, more intimate relationship. Experience Meets Expertise Carol and David bring 20 years of real-world lifestyle experience to the table, but they don't stop there. They believe curiosity should be backed by credibility. That is why every episode features expert guests who bring their deep knowledge directly to you. We sit down with renowned sex therapists, health professionals, and relationship coaches to ensure every episode is a masterclass in: Sex & Sexuality: Exploring your body and your desires without shame. Sexual Health & Pleasure: Navigating the physical and emotional pillars of vitality. Relationship Mastery: Learning the tools for a thriving, long-term partnership. The Foundation: Honest Communication In our world, communication is the ultimate aphrodisiac. Carol and David lead by example with an unfiltered honesty you won't find anywhere else. They share their own journey—the highs, the lows, and the "oops" moments—to demonstrate how total transparency about desires, fears, and fantasies creates an unbreakable bond. What's on the Menu? The Academy of Intimacy: Pushing boundaries and exploring fantasies to keep things fresh. Lifestyle Jetsetting: An inside look at clothing-optional resorts, cruises, international takeovers, and global destinations. Swinging 101: Mastering the etiquette, social dynamics, and the "secret sauce" of the lifestyle community. The "Big Hugs" Philosophy: Building a judgment-free community that celebrates sexual freedom for everyone. Why Listen? Because relationships begin and end in the bedroom. In a world cluttered with myths and misconceptions, Carol and David offer a refreshing, credible, and completely uncensored alternative. We don't just talk about the "what"—we show you the "how." Whether you are looking to breathe new life into a long-term partnership or are ready to dive into the deep end of your own sexuality, we provide a sophisticated, judgment-free space to grow. We combine two decades of lifestyle wisdom with the insights of top-tier experts to help you navigate everything from sexual wellness to international travel. We believe great sex matters... and we ALL deserve it! Listen. Learn. Live Sexy. "A great relationship isn't something you find; it's something you build, test, and perfect—one fantasy at a time. Your journey to an extraordinary life starts with a single, honest conversation." -- Carol & David

When both his popular culture podcast and long-term relationship come to an end, journalist Brendan finds he has the time — and freedom — to pursue his dream: a travel podcast where he goes places and learns about them by getting invited to a stranger’s house for dinner. A friend joins him at each destination and they drink, dance, and eat their way from Montréal to Mexico City, often learning as much about themselves as the place they’re visiting. Not Lost is both a delightful travel escape and an insightful look at people — locals and visitors alike — trying to make sense of a constantly changing world.

Not Lost is a co-production of Pushkin Industries, Topic Studios and iHeartMedia. iHeartMedia is the exclusive podcast partner of Pushkin Industries.

Geopats Abroad is about what helps us feel grounded while in our life abroad.

For eight years of my serial expat life, I interviewed people about the things that helped them understand, adjust to, and feel more connected to the places they were living.

The original Geopats Abroad podcast ended in 2022, but the conversations still hold up. This Substack is where I’m bringing that archive back to life.

Living Abroad, Culture, Identity, and Belonging

I’m tidying up the older episodes to make them easier to find and listen to because more and more people are making the leap to living outside their passport country. In these conversations, you’ll find stories from expats, immigrants, international students, long-term travelers, and people whose lives don’t fit neatly into one place.

The driving force of the podcast is my own curiosity and desire to connect with other internationals globally. This isn’t just an audio project, a podcast, a YouTube channel, or a Substack. It’s a very personal project. It’s part of who I am and who I was while recording these conversations.

Some episodes are practical. Others are deeply personal. Most explore the small and big things that help us make sense of a new place and feel more at home in it.

What Geopats Abroad Explores

Each season of Geopats Abroad approaches getting comfortable in our new places from a different angle.

Season 1: Guests looked back at something they had written during an earlier period of living abroad, including emails, blog posts, and social media posts, and reflected on how they saw that experience differently later.

Seasons 2 and 3: Language learning. Season 2 focused on foreigners learning Mandarin Chinese, while Season 3 featured native Chinese speakers talking about learning English and other languages.

Seasons 4 and 5: Online communities that helped people feel more connected and at home in a new place.

Season 6: Books that helped people understand the places they were living in.

Season 7: Conversations about learning languages other than Chinese.

Season 8: Coffee and the role it can play in connecting to a place.

Season 9: Podcasting globally: how it’s similar and different. And of course, how it can connect us to each other in our new culture.

Season 10: A mixed season covering music, photography, returning home, and other parts of life abroad.

Season 11: Immigrant kids who later became expats, exploring how growing up between cultures shaped the way they experienced living abroad as adults.

About Stephanie Fuccio: Serial Expat Since 2003

I’m Stephanie Fuccio. I’ve mostly been living and working outside the U.S. since 2003 and have lived in Asia, Latin America, and Europe during this time.

My own experiences with culture shock, identity, belonging, language, and building a life abroad shaped many of the questions behind Geopats Abroad.

The podcast grew from my curiosity about what helps people feel grounded in a new place, how we build connection far from where we started, and how living abroad changes the way we understand home, culture, identity, and ourselves.

Geopats is my ongoing archive of those conversations.
