Most self-help advice is guesswork dressed up as wisdom. We dig into psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral science to find what actually changes lives. WHY LISTEN? Over 8 million downloads because we answer the questions that matter: How do I build mental strength? What creates lasting motivation? How can I understand my own mind well enough to work with it, not against it? This podcast is for curious skeptics who want frameworks backed by psychology studies, not Instagram quotes. Whether you're navigating procrastination, building self-discipline, or designing your own philosophy for a life well lived—we explore the hidden psychology behind real change. WHAT YOU'LL GET Mental models and simple techniques from cognitive psychology, positive psychology, and ancient wisdom traditions like Stoicism and Buddhism. Being a human can be confusing, learning about it doesn’t have to be. We cover everything from emotional intelligence and habit formation to brain health and the nervous system. WHAT YOU DON’T GET No pseudoscience. No oversimplified "hacks." No hustle porn. Just practical insights on mindset improvement, self-development, and human psychology that respect your intelligence and mental health. THE APPROACH Instead of telling you what to think, we explore how thinking works. Armed with psychology studies, social science research, and relentless curiosity, we uncover the mechanics of belief change, attitude change, and personal development. Success is personal. You might want to leverage your neurodiverse strengths, build a business, or simply discover how to be happier. We provide the mental frameworks to pursue your definition of success with mental strength and self-care that fits your life. YOUR HOST I'm Sam Webster Harris—a lifelong learner with ADHD and an obsession with finding answers to hard questions. After launching businesses, traveling the world, and nearly dying a few times, I concluded that psychology and science are where real wisdom lives. This show is my excuse to dive deep into health and fitness research, behavioral psychology, and cool science while helping you build genuine self-discipline and motivation. Dismantling New Age cults, wellness grifters, and conspiracy-mad yogis. At best, the conspirituality movement attacks public health efforts in times of crisis. At worst, it fronts and recruits for the fever-dream of QAnon. As the alt-right and New Age horseshoe toward each other in a blur of disinformation, clear discourse, and good intentions get smothered. Charismatic influencers exploit their followers by co-opting conspiracy theories on a spectrum of intensity ranging from vaccines to child trafficking. In the process, spiritual beliefs that have nurtured creativity and meaning are transforming into memes of a quickly-globalizing paranoia. Conspirituality Podcast attempts to bring understanding to this landscape. A journalist, a cult researcher, and a philosophical skeptic discuss the stories, cognitive dissonances, and cultic dynamics tearing through the yoga, wellness, and new spirituality worlds. Mainstream outlets have noticed the problem. We crowd-source, research, analyze, and dream answers to it.

Welcome to One Man, One Woman, the Podcast. This is a safe space to speak about any topic from the male & female point of view. It is important that we have tough conversations without emotions getting out of control. The goal is to explore all subject matter without fear of judgment or ridicule. We live in a time where communication between people lacks consideration and understanding. Our hope is to show the world that men and women actually speak the same language. We are more than capable of respecting each other’s opinion even when we don’t agree. No matter the kind of ship: friendship, familyship, relationship etc., we can listen to understand and agree to disagree. Most importantly we can laugh, love and have fun, all while being on opposite ends of the spectrum regarding any topic. This is a place to learn how to trust, be vulnerable, open and honest. We’re glad you’re here to share this space with us.

PsyberSpace® is a weekly psychology podcast for curious people who want to understand why the world feels the way it does, online and offline. The show helps you name what you’re seeing and feeling, understand the science behind it, and figure out what to do next. If you've ever wondered what makes "reply guys" tick, why we fall for emotionally manipulative language in politics, why meetings suck, why comfort can keep us stuck, why limerence hits so hard, or how music and media reshape your brain, you’re in the right place. New episodes drop every Monday to help you understand your world a little better each week. PsyberSpace looks at how psychology, media, and big systems shape everyday life. Some weeks it’s algorithms, AI, and social platforms; other weeks it’s work culture, gender and power, climate anxiety, grief, or the way capitalism sets the baseline for what “normal” looks like. Each episode breaks down how these patterns show up in real people’s bodies and minds—and what you can do to respond with more clarity, care, and agency in your own life, work, and community. 2025 Webby Award Honoree 2026 Women in Podcasting Award Nominee 2025 Women in Podcasting Award Nominee 2024 Women in Podcasting Award Nominee

A Language I Love Is... (ALILI) broadcasts linguistic joy and shares expert insights into the languages of the world. It's a simple formula: one host, one guest, one language, and three key questions:

1) What is your story and connection to this language?

2) What do you love about this language?

3) What is something you want the audience to know about this language?

Through informative interviews and casual conversations, ALILI fulfills its mission: to share the linguistic love with all.

The science of the good life, huh? Sorry this is not about booze, sex and rock n'roll (or whatever is en vogue right now). In fact we talk about a lot of things that tree huggers would love: appreciation of beauty, gratitude, positive emotions, relationships and well, love. However we, that is positive psychologists and positive psychology practitioners buried ourselves in books, set out to experiment and then write it all up in a writing style that is about as exciting to read as watching an avocado turn brown. And that's the problem: if you are not an academic you probably want a little bit more excitement, than pages and pages of densely written journals can provide. Even if you are an academic, who has time to read all the interesting stuff out there anyways? So in an effort to save your eyes taking on a comically rectangular shape the positive psychology podcast brings the science of the good life to your earbuds. It's not all treehugger style though; sometimes we might get quite serious, for example when exploring things like post-traumatic growth or positive parenting. Subscribe if you want to benefit from the scientific insights into happiness and meaning while you are on the go. Let me know where you are while you are listening to this. If you like it review it, because that's the only way other people can find it too.

We think deeply, feel a lot, and we're done pretending mental load, exhaustion and burnout are personal failures. This is Scenic Route through Midlife, a mental health and personal growth podcast for women navigating burnout, rage, and perimenopause while still making space for wonder and whimsy.

Hosted by sociologist and mental health advocate Jennifer Walter — a half-rebel, half-marshmallow perimenopausal millennial with ADHD — we explore where society meets the self: perfectionism, overthinking, and the pursuit of well-being collide with power, gender, capitalism, and social change.

Here we believe healing isn't just personal, it's collective.

New episodes every Tuesday.
New affirmations every Friday.

The longest way round is the shortest way home. That’s why we’re taking the Scenic Route.

Healthy Cities in the SDG Era is a podcast about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and how research conducted by faculty and students at the University of Toronto is helping to achieve them. This podcast will explore research and policy topics related to SDG3: Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and the ways in which they intersect with the other SDGs - for example, areas like poverty, hunger, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, reduced inequalities, and climate action. Our goal is to give context to the ongoing research and progress towards achieving the SDGs at U of T, as it relates to Canada’s actions, and to add new perspectives to national discussions about the SDGs. Our conversations will be evidence-based and focus on highlighting actionable ways that people can make an impact in achieving the SDGs. CREDITS: This podcast is co-hosted by Dr. Erica Di Ruggiero, Director of the Centre for Global Health, and Ophelia Michaelides, Manager of the Centre for Global Health, at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, and produced by Elizabeth Loftus. Audio editing is by Anwaar Baobeid and Sylvia Lorico. Music is produced by Julien Fortier. It is made with the support of the School of Cities at the University of Toronto.

What happens when two women who refuse to play small sit down with the people actually changing the world — and the ones brave enough to tell the stories most shows won't touch? You get The Get Obsessed Podcast — a show built for people who are hungry for more truth, more transformation, and more proof that the life they're imagining is actually possible. Hosted by Julie Lokun and Mika Altidor, this is the podcast for dreamers who are done dreaming and ready to move. Julie is a legal advocate, entrepreneur, and mother of four who has spent years studying what it truly takes to succeed. Mika is a fierce business owner and meditation facilitator obsessed with self-development who knows what it takes to turn a life around. Together they bring zero filters, radical honesty, and an unshakable belief that you were built for more than you've been told. We go places other podcasts won't. We have explored the inner world of Scientology — the beliefs, the pull, the controversy, and what it means for the people inside it. We sat with Janelle Brown from TLC's Sister Wives and went deep into what it really looks like to live outside the lines of what society calls normal, to question everything, and to find your own definition of family and freedom. Dr. Christine Marie, featured in the #1 Netflix documentary Trust Me: The False Prophet, joined us to unpack manipulation, control, and how even the smartest people can be led astray — and more importantly, how to find your way back. These are not comfortable conversations. They are necessary ones. And then there are the guests who show up to teach you how to build. Gary Vaynerchuk on turning obsession into empires. Evan Carmichael on finding your purpose and never letting go. David Meltzer on staying grateful and driven when the odds are stacked against you. Jim Kwik, author of Limitless, on unlocking what your mind is actually capable of. Dr. Laura Berman — Oprah's go-to love expert — on grief, healing, and choosing to keep living fully. Dr. Nadine Macaluso on trauma and reclaiming your story. Dr. Sherrie Campbell on breaking free from toxic relationships for good. Gina DeVee, the woman who inspired this show to exist, on building a life entirely on your own terms. Kim D. from The Real Housewives and Lt. Joe Kenda, the Homicide Hunter, on the stories that shape us. At the heart of every episode is one question: how do we actually live our best life — not the curated version, not the one we perform for others, but the real one? The one that lights us up, challenges us, and makes us feel fully alive. That is what we are building here, one conversation at a time. New episodes every week.
