Imaginary Worlds sounds like what would happen if NPR went to Comic-Con and decided that’s all they ever wanted to cover. The host Eric Molinsky spent over a decade working in public radio, and he uses those skills to create sound-rich storytelling, pop culture analysis and cultural commentary about speculative fiction and immersive worldbuilding. Eric interviews sci-fi fantasy writers, creature makeup designers, comic book artists, video game and tabletop game designers, historians and anyone who works in the field of make-believe about the creative process. He also delves into fandoms, asking why we suspend our disbelief, and what happens if the spell is broken. Fantasy worlds may be set on distant planets or parallel dimensions, but they are crafted here on Earth and they’re always about us and our lived experiences. Imaginary Worlds is a Gold Winner for Best Arts & Culture podcast in the Signal Awards, and received an Ambie Award nomination for Best Indie Podcast. Episodes of Imaginary Worlds have been featured on the podcasts 99% Invisible, Twenty Thousand Hertz, Decoder Ring, Cautionary Tales, Science Friday, and The Allusionist.

I believe every person has value. Behind every headline, hustle, hard-earned moment, and family tales there’s a story worth sharing. That’s why I built Beyond the Mic. I talk with artists, athletes, authors, icons and people you need to know. I don’t do puff pieces. I ask questions that get to the real stuff: the doubts, wins, detours, and moments that shaped them. The stories that you normally don't get to hear. Some stories make you laugh. Some hit you in the gut. All of them remind you: people matter, you matter. I’m not here to be famous. I’m here helping others be heard. I want curiosity to run free, connect communities, and make something that sticks with you long after the mic is off. Because in a world full of noise, real stories still cut through. Remarkable stories from people you know—and people you should. That's my mission. Let's go #BeyondTheMic. New Episodes Weekly! We're Alive is an award-winning audio drama that follows a group of Survivors in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles now ruled by the "Infected."

It begins with “A Story of Survival” which spans from Chapters 1-48. Our survivors band together, fortify a safe haven known as the Tower, and discover that the Infected are far from the biggest threat they will have to face.

The adventure continues with:

“Lockdown” - A small group of inmates and prison guards are trapped in the T-block at Twin Towers Jail. They are forced to work together and find a way to escape while the rest of the world ends around them.

“Goldrush” - Set 17 years after the main events of “A Story of Survival”, this is a recollection story that describes the efforts of the four Soldiers as they attempt a side mission to retrieve a suspected stash of gold bullion.

"Scout's Honor" (on it's own feed!) - Adventure Scouts stranded on Catalina Island off the coast of California must use their wits and teamwork to survive during Outbreak.

And “We’re Alive: Descendants," which follows the children of the Survivors as they navigate a dangerous new world.

The story of survival continues; the fight is not over.

18 years after the Outbreak, the world is starting to re-organize and rebuild, but many different forms of humanity are still struggling to survive in the aftermath. Nicholas Tink grew up in the shadow of his father. Little does he know that deep in the places where infected dwell, another descendant lies waiting.

Content Warning: This podcast contains descriptions of graphic violence, sexual references, and strong language. Listener discretion is advised.

A podcast about the news and trends that impact the choices we make around getting, preparing, and disposing of our foods and drinks, seen through the lens of a consumer researcher...consumer...human...me. The podcast covers a range of topics related to the cycle of consuming food. DISCOVERY of new foods and cuisines. PLANNING what you're going to make and eat. SHOPPING for food and beverages. PREPARING meals and snacks. DISPOSING of what doesn't get eaten. EATING OUT when you want someone else to work. The goal is to entertain and inform you so I muse about what's trending in the food world: new products, up-and-coming cuisines, food chain sustainability, "smart" kitchen stuff, digital shopping, and more. The recipe for each episode is simple: 1) A good handful of observations. 2) A couple of spoonfuls of insight from experts. 3) A thimbleful of first-hand experience. 4) A dash of whimsy. 5) Simmer until a story emerges.

the world knows what they're known for. this show finds out who they are. reppin is a documentary-style conversation podcast that goes beyond the bio, beyond the headline, beyond the role. real conversations with athletes, artists, executives, journalists, and creatives — about identity, race, mental health, success, self-worth, grit, courage and more. it's about owning your story. no apologies. no filtered narrative. real stories. just the person behind the title, telling it straight, in their own words. hosted by evelien — a tv producer and director with 25+ years pulling the real story out of extraordinary people, now doing it one conversation at a time. new episodes twice a month, wherever you listen. here, we're human first. find us on: website: www.reppin.tv youtube :https://www.youtube.com/@Reppinpodcast instagram @reppin_podcast substack: https://reppinafterhours.substack.com/
